Overview
The PETTS Doll provides a life-like, hands-on experience to put nurses in a high-stress, fight or flight emergent situation where the airway must be addressed. Through simulation practice, caregivers develop muscle memory through repetition and conditioning to the point where their actions in an emergent response become automatic.
Designed specifically for pediatric patients with tracheostomies—who are at the highest risk for airway emergencies—the PETTS Doll improves patient safety at the highest level for medically fragile, technology-dependent pediatric patients and ultimately saves lives.
